Sweet Thunder
There is a really great site on the web that post found audio weekly. It is called Sweet Thunder, and this week they posted one of my found audio clips from an answering machine tape. I found the tape up here in Seattle. Please go over and check it out, and then bookmark the site because checking it weekly is good for your health. Plus, supporting the small found audio community is always a really good idea. Thanks again to Rj for posting it up there.

Donuts Anyone?
So last Spring Jesse, an old friend, and I got together and recorded a song about donuts. It was part of our 3 hour project. Writing, recording, playing, everything in 3 hours. It came out kinda cool. I just realized the other day that I haven’t shared it with a lot of people, so I figured I would host it up here and let you all hear it! Let me know what you think. Plus the world needs more songs about donuts. We keep making plans to do more songs in other genres. We have an idea in the works right now that is going to be sooo sweet.

Turn the keys I spin the wheels
This weekend was pretty great. It was lovely, if you will. Thrifting, potluck at Jesse and Myriah’s, I made my new famous toasted rosemary and spinach mashed potatoes, watched Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist (which was good, but honestly not as good as I thought it was going to be), had smiley face pancakes, listened to a nice folk guitarist at C&P coffee, saw the Rocky Horror Picture Live show for the first time (kinda scary, fun but I am not sure i’d go again, although it was awesome seeing so many people having such an amazing run-around-the-theater-good-time).
Now I am sitting here about to dive into some paperwork and clear off last weeks random left over forms on my desk.
Sipping on some good Fair Trade Guatemalan coffee for TJ’s.
I brought half of that calzone for lunch today. I made it last night. It has spinach, seiten, onion, mushrooms, pepper jack cheese, and a basil tomato sauce. It came out really well. Esp for my first time making calzones, and without a recipe. I will make them again for sure.
I need to get better about taking my daily Vitamin D-3.

Free Potluck!!!
What would Super Bowl Sundae be without a little random free food? Probably boring. Jesse and I walked over to the Poogie and talked with the owner James L Dunn. Had such a good time. Found out that he used to be on the show Northern Exposure!
