Will you ever know what you do to me?

I am growing more and more in love with an album. But alas, I can not tell you here, because I told my brother I was burning him some cds for christmas. One of them is the album I have been really enjoying lately. So you will have to wait. Hopefully you are all listening to it already. It is for your own good.

I have been drinking delicious hot chocolate lately. Dipping Trader Joe’s Candy Cane cookies into every mug. Every single one.

So last week, I can’t remember if I blogged about it, I took some of my mini-comics into a store downtown called Nancy and they agreed to buy some off of me to carry in their store! Then on Monday, I got an email from the owner saying she loved them and they already ran out and want more! I am going to make some more up while I am out of town, and hopefully make another one while im in LA. They don’t have a whole lot of comics in their store, so I feel honored to be in there. Makes me feel all kinds of warm inside. Maybe more stores will want to carry my lil’ comics.

Talked with Jonathan and Alicia today. Awesome.

Watched a two part episode of The Rockford Files tonight. How is that show so amazing!!

I am beginning to dream about holding a red stripe and a microphone in my parent’s family room belting out Phil Collins. Saturday!

I dropped of my last kid at the bus stop and then walked down the street to get a chocolate almond milk latte. The snow is everywhere, and the roads are icy, but I have my drink now so everything is cool.

Black Ice and White Cookies

The snow has stuck around here all day. First Karl, Ben, and I went over to Easy Street for breakfast. Then we went home. Then Ben and I walked down to the storage unit to get some stuff. Someone had put my tire chains in there, which today seemed silly, because I couldn’t drive down the hill to get them. Annoying. The walk was fun though. We slid around and had some good hang out time. I found my waterproof snow pants and slid them over my cords. Then I was sliding around on my butt every small hill that I came to. It was hilarious. Ben walked back up the hill to our house, and I decided to go over to Jesse and Myriah’s. I saw Firecracker and we hung out a little bit. Then Jesse and I started to walk up the hill to my house. Soo icy everywhere. We stopped by a park to find a geocahe. No luck! Too much snow. We decided to come back another time. The snow must have been about 3 or 4 inches at the park! We then ventured further up the hill to come to my house. Patrick and some people were handing out free cookies in the junction. Awesome. Then a girl gave me a bag with a sugar cookie, frosting, and sprinkles to assemble my own cookie! So we went into Easy Street for coffee and chai and we made the cookie. The frosting looked like wasabi frosting. Which lead us into the discussion on how we would make sushi looking cookies with green frosting (wasabi). Neat idea. We finally arrived back here and played Wii. Karl and Ben put on Kindergarten Cop. I told Ben he was no longer allowed to tease me for watching Family Ties, Full House, and Rockford Files. I mean seriously, Kindergarten Cop!! I worked more on the gift for my mom, and ate some soup and cookies with chocolate soy milk. Now I am down here, in my room. I had to look up a bus schedule to take to work, because the roads are icy and it is way cold outside. Let me check… 23 degrees right now. They are predicting below freezing temperatures all week!! Needless to say, I finally had to sew my good parka so I could wear it tomorrow and the rest of this week. I kept putting it off. I have a small package of those japanese panda cookies to eat on the bus tomorrow, and I am charging and reloading my ipod shuffle. Should be nice actually. A lot less dangerous. Seriously, people have been sliding around all day. A lady was driving down our street and she was just sliding. So I walked up to her car and helped guide her car down the street. So probably would have hit Ben’s car. It is so icy out that I was able to steer her car just by pushing with my arm one way or the other. It was weird how little effort it took. I guess that is what ice does to tires. I wonder if I will have to bus it all week?! I wouldn’t mind, it would just add about 30 or 40 minutes to my commute. Save money though, which is good. Alright well, I am going to try and stream an episode of Rockford Files off of Hulu before I fall asleep. Goodnight!

My eyes are shut like i’m blind

I love using song lyrics in my titles.

This week has been pretty good. Hosted Craft Night, which went well. I started a cross stitch oh Noah’s Ark. It is Noah, an elephant, and a giraffe. Pretty awesome. Which leads me into my next thought, I have officially begun collecting something new! I now collect previously made and framed religious and/or food related cross stitches from thrift and antique stores. I have a couple, of which I should photograph this weekend, and will show them to you all soon. They are amazing. Imagine 15 framed stitches on my wall in the bathroom or hallway. Sounds like paradise.

So I think now I have about 3 things that I truly and devotedly collect.

1. Answering Machine Tapes. I have around 130 so far. I have been collecting them since 2002.

2. Found Photos

3. Cross Stitches

Sub-Categories (important things but not as high a priority)

4. Star Wars things. Primarily anything before 1997.

5. Mini Comics

6. Small Classic Radios

Actually I collect a lot of things. Come over and look around my room. I will give all a complete tour and history of each prized piece of my collection. Someday I will have more room, and lots of shelves. My collections will grow and get so big that they start eating food out of my future refriderator!

Work has been stressful this week. We had our internal QA come through. They are coming back on Monday. They are really nice ladies, but they are very very exact. This will be a good learning experience for me. Feeling good about it all, but I also know I have more to learn and to correct once they leave.

Hey Jesse, I got another coupon for the Maharaja!

They say it might snow tomorrow.

If you don’t already know, my parents are having a Karaoke party Dec 20th. And I will be there!!! So please give me a call and plan on stopping by. It is going to rule. Don’t worry I will try to find the Full House theme song for everyone to sing along to.

I am off to Easy Street to help out at a show. So long!

Dear Gatorade,

How do you make me feel the way you do? Late at night when nothing else will satisfy me, you are always there to complete me. Never leave me, Gatorade, never leave me. You are truly the most heavenly of all beverages. But most of all G, thank you. Thank you.

Love, brad

Underwear Update

Underwear Update, originally uploaded by bradley j.

I have cleaned out my "summer" socks and replaced with all gold toe brand grey socks. That is the only kind of socks I will wear. Don’t ask me why. Started a long time ago. Also, I weeded out some boxer briefs and am now feeling confident with each grab of a fresh pair, because they are all the kind I like and new feeling. Also in photo, my gloves, bedsheet spray, half a one of my Star Wars belt buckles.

Also Master Cleanse Day 3 is almost complete!
