Thursday Night/Friday Morning

Seattle has been amazing. Literaly every second that I have been here has been filled with joy. Many different forms out it. Karl and I just got back from running around the streets of Seattle. We did real good. I even saw someone I knew from LA at a bar! Which further proves the fact that I see someone I know EVERYWHERE I go. Righteous. We are off to bed. Perhaps a little Phantom Hourglass, but eventually bed.

Hope all is well back home.

Seattle

I am leaving for Seattle tomorrow morning. I might be able to still blog while I am away, it all depends on how much awesomeness Karl and I are having, and if I can squeeze it in. Not only are we going to work on comics and a zine, but we are doing some silkscreening!

Also Karl’s Partybots will be at the Urban Craft Uprising @ Seattle Center Exhibition Hall this weekend. As well as the Defmode Midnight Market, I Heart Indie Holidays, and the Fremont Market. I get to be a Helperbot and work the shows with him. Sweet!

I want to goto Left Bank Books.

For more about Partybots click the picture in the left bar of my website. Did you realize it was there??!!! PARYTBOTS.

Weekend Update w/ Brad

Friday went to Don Coco’s with Jimmy, Lynette, Omar, and Jason. Then went to Brenna’s to watch Cocoon with Omar. Turns out Cocoon is amazing.

Saturday went garage sailing with Omar and Brenna. I got a book about sign language. It has really good illustrations and good phrases I can actually use. I want to scan some of the images.  Then we ate at Campo’s and had breakfast burritos. Soo good. Then broke for the afternoon. To meet up later at friendsgiving. My mom helped me big time and made a pumpkin pie and stuffing for me to bring. Thanks mom! I went over to Jimmy and Lynette’s and the food was really good. Jason had lots of vegetables to grill, that were delicious. I think I would have had more fun at the dinner if I hadn’t felt so uncomfortable around some of my friends. So I left early and went to Oxnard to get ready for the TNT show at Experimental Cafe. The show went really well and cheered me up. I even took photobooth pictures. Which are shown below.

Today Chris Spratlen and I had a contest about who could stay in bed the latest. I think I made it to about 1pm and he made it a few hours later. Nice job man, you win. Omar and I hung out all day. A little bit of this and a little bit of that. We had El Pollo Loco for dinner. I have an extra BRC in the fridge for tomorrow.

Tomorrow = Productive day = Coffee Coffee Coffee

Even at 7:30 it was still really foggy outside. I don’t like the freeways when it’s foggy because California drivers still drive 80 mph. Even when it rains they still do. I remember driving around Portland Oregon and Olympia Washington back in 2002, and how nice it was to drive amongst people that drove a normal speed, about 60 or so. If I remember correctly. I miss those places.

Dangerous Place

Man, it is way to hot today. I am over this weather. I wish So Cal could just be a little nice during the “winter”. I wish we had a winter to begin with.

I just put new brakes on my bike. Going riding with some friends later. Besides Ryan and Christian, I am not sure who else is going. I think CJ and some of his friends. Should be fun. I also need to go to the bike store and get some things to fix Corban’s bike soon. Putting the brakes on mine, made me realize how easy bike work can be.

I had a delicious tofurkey sandwich today.

I took a 30 minute nap.

I worked on my resume.

I had an IBC rootbeer.

I have work at 1:30 until 6:30. Then I am rushing home and jumping on my bike to go over to Bodie House. Then we will ride!

I am trying to get Microsoft Money to work on my computer. It keeps giving me and Omar the same error message. Oh wait, I think Omar said he fixed his. I will have to ask him how. I want to put myself on an extreme budget. Keeping track of every cent. Brenna and I are both doing this. Anyone else that wants in can join. We both agree that it is going to be a really good idea. We want to get on track.

I can’t wait to have saturdays off!!!! What a relief. After almost 3 years, I will have an actual weekend starting next week. This opens up so many weekend options.

Weeds in the Wheat

So for those of you that thought the song by David Bazan I posted a few days ago sounds interesting, I have uploaded it and put the actual song her for download. Reading the lyrics is nice, but hearing the song is better.

Weeds in the Wheat - David Bazan.

Also, I thought it was called God Bless, but is called actually called, Weeds in the Wheat.

Enjoy.

My new vitamin case. I got it yesterday when I was in the Little Tokyo Shopping Center. The meds are ginkgo biloba, b-complex, multi-vit, and mike ‘n ikes. While I was at the shopping center I also got to go up to the Japanese arcade. I kept an extra token for a souviner. I played Tetris the whole time I was there. Afterwards I stopped by the American Apparel Factory Store, which is below the main headquarters. The store is like an outlet but has more variety. I tried on a few things but bought nothing. And of course I had coffee from Groundworks, because it is amazing.
