It is Halloween. Great. I want to watch that Peanuts movie. I like that Matt Pond PA song, Halloween.
Yosemite was beautiful. I really have no idea how I can sum up the trip in a blog. So I am putting a link to my photo set. Here are the pictures. That is most of them. It was so nice getting away. Kevin and Tisa’s wedding was amazing. Being with friends was great. Manmosas in the morning was delicious. On the drive home, Corban and I, we took around 10 hours to get to LA. We just kept stopping everywhere. Mostly thrift stores. We both got great finds. I found an album of mid 70’s photos for 1 dollar. We also drove through an insane hail storm and lightning was everywhere. I really wish we could have all stayed up there. Personally, I really needed a break. Today has been weird, being back in LA. Doesn’t feel that great. I want to sleep the day away and try to relive some of the walks, talks, and moments that took place on the trip. I don’t mean to sound down, but I just really wish I could have stayed up there longer. I felt that there was so much more I wanted to do. More moments that could have been created and remembered. I am very grateful for the trip. And all in all it did last a good amount of time. One can only take off so much work at a time. Yosemite was amazing.
I added a new category of links.
OUTER SPACE!!!
There are a few there. Think I should add another? What one then?
Enjoy
Everyone loves Jon Carr. Well, he just back from a road trip. Go check out his photos!
My brother just showed me this. Looks neat.
Ever wonder how walkable your neighborhood is? Well, this people made a website that lets you put in your address and find out just how walkable it is. Or if you are thinking about moving, you can put in your possible future address and find out how easy it will be to walk places nearby. Neat!
I am watching a demo for Leopard. Seems like a neat new operating system. I can’t wait to go check it out in person. See you soon Charles! Ha.
Jared, Tamra, and Omar are watching Heros down the hall. I haven’t started that series yet. Someday.
If you haven’t seen Darjeeling Limited yet….what are you waiting for?! Go!
Carved pumpkins yesterday with Corban, The Gloyds, Tisa and Kevin, and Amber P.. It was lots of fun. I couldn’t think what to carve though. So I just ended up doing a star. It came out alright I suppose. But the afternoon was great. We ate good food, listened to some good tunes, and carved pumpkins. Also us fellas had some Miller High Life, and we all had some apple champagne. It was apple juice mixed with Champagne. I really liked that, I had never had it before. I pictures from this event, and I will post them soon.
I am really enjoying the new Weakerthans.
Almsot saw Bodies of Water last night, but it was sold out. Which is really good! Just sad we couldn’t go. Thanks for trying Dave!
Got some corn chips with flax seeds from Trader Joe’s. Delicious. Thanks Michael for the suggestion. Diggin them.
Michael gave me some delicious pumpkin bread Saturday. I brought it to pumpkin carving. Everyone really enjoyed it Michael! Nice. I have to make some bread for Michael now. Trying to get a good recipe.
Hey I just realized my itunes is on repeat…………..There
Played some Halo Live today. Getting better.
So I worked from 6to8:30 this morning, and then came home as usual. Butttt then I accidentally slept from 8:45 to 1:30!!! That is like a whole nother nights sleep! Geeez. I was kinda tired all day. Plus work was insane today! Man. I need some down time. Well, actually I guess that is what I had all night tonight.
I had a Trader Joe’s Q-dilla and some carrot skin wrapper sushi. Mmm. Then made Mojitos. Mmmm.
Im going down the hall to see what Omar is doing.
Played some killer Uno with Corban, Tisa, and Kevin Thursday Night. It was amazing. Thanks for the wine, whiskey, and beer. Corban and I had some soup too. I had made some earlier. It was tasty.
Friday as I was driving home from my parents, picking up my mail, I was behind a car at the left turn light. It turned green and they didn’t move, so I waited a second. And then naturally, I honked. Nothing. So I pulled up next to them and it was an old couple. Appartently they had put Diesel into their non-diesel car. So I pulled into the gas station and me and this other guy helped push their car. At first we were doing great, but then shortly realized that it was indeed a CAR and we were trying to push it up a very small incline. Seriously tired me out soo bad. Plus once we got into the parking lot we were pushing it towards a spot and I realized noone was in the car to stop it from hitting another car. So I had to run around and jump in as it was moving. Superhero anyone? sorta. At the last second some nice Grace Brethern folk jumped into action too. Barshaw and Adam. Nice job.
My friend Dave has the same last name as my second grade teacher. Rupert.
Been playing a lot of Halo live on the 360. Preeetty sweet game. Since I already beat it on 1 player mode all I have is multi. Cept, I could try to beat it on a harder level I suppose.
Going to Derek’s art show tonight in Westlake. Good times.
Oh I think it is my turn for the shower. Oh weird I lightbulb just turned on in my room. By itself! Magic, I mean. Well, actually it was the Force, I mean. Yeah, the Force. And I was using it. Yes that is right, what? no. wait yeah!
I want to eat here. Really bad
The little tour with TNT was a blast! Go here for photos. Our next show is at the CIA in North Hollywood with Polar State. Come out!! It is going to be great.
So much good new music lately.
That is keeping my radio busy.
Ate at Pokez’s in San Diego while we were down there. It was sooo good. Veggie Mexican food, my dream food. I had a veggie Chimichunga. Sooooooooooo good.
Going to see Maritime tomorrow night at the Viper Room with Michael and maybe Corban. Better alternative than the Wiltern. Price wise. It was 10 and it is 21 and over, let me know if you want to go. We could meet up there.
Got a few neat little antique-ish things at a thrift store with Jen last week.
Went to a Savers in Nevada Saturday and got some stuff. I love Savers. I wish we had thrift stores like that out here.
I desperately need to go grocery shopping. I will goto Trader Joe’s soon. Even better, I will ride there. Bike!

I love taking photographs. Sometimes people approach me on Flickr and ask to use some of them. Well, I have recieved several messages this year. Some I will not see for a while, because the projects are still being worked on. Mazda Magazine messaged me about some bicycle riding photos of mine. I guess they have a magazine that goes out to certain Mazda owners? Not sure, but they asked to use one of my photos for it! Also someone asked me if they could use some of my Bingo photos for their Bingo website. Well, they finally updated the site and now you can see my pictures! Their is one of me playing Bingo and one of Harrison Ford and R2D2. So I think that is neat! Go here to check it out. If the photos on the left aren’t mine, then refresh and they will appear sooner or later.
I have more I want to blog about, but I am kinda busy so I have to go.
Adios
Pretty sure they are.
The Pools house yesterday was such a blast! Amazing food, that I can’t remember what it was called, that had bell peppers, eggs, chili things, cheese, sour cream, avocado, onions, and more! Soo good. Plus their house is really well put together. The colors of the walls are perfect. The decoration are really neat, they have some awesome DIY stuff. I am a big fan of the Pools. Matt, Dusty’s, very soon my friend. Perhaps some more Maiden. Needless to say, the day spent at their house was really nice. More photos here…
Church was good. Tony Hale became an Elder. Although I do not know him personaly, he might be my hero. He is just such a nice looking guy. Mike S. became a Deacon! Great Job! After church, we all had peanut butter and jelly sandwichs. I think once a month, Ecclesia, has PB&J Sundays. Where you fellowship and meet new people while you also eat a PB&J. I am into it. The best fellowship ever.
Later in the evening Corban and I tried to go see The Darjeeling Limited. Only to finally get to the Arclight and realize it has sold out. Dang it. So we ate Thai food instead. MMmmmm. I met the wife, Adelle, of a Blue Man.
This week is going to be so busy.
Don’t get me wrong, the week is going to be really fun. Just full, is all.
Ouch a weird sharp pain in my right elbow. Which reminds me, I need to see a doctor about my recent discovery that I am honestly allergic to EVERY pain reliever. EVERYTHING gives me hives now. Why all of a sudden. Strange. I would have a beer to take away a headache but it might dehydrate me. Argh & Weird.
I am listening to the new Glossary. You can download it for free here. I am thinking that I might like it. At first listen all the way through it does have a nice feel to it. I like the countryish sound. What do you think? Also it is free, I mean come on, might as well check it out. Speaking of free albums, I heard that the Radiohead album is getting hard to download due to heavy traffic. I would try getting it at a weird time of day.
You heard it here first, maybe, on BRAD FM. I’m Brad your DJ wishing you a fun Monday. Take her easy.
