My brother and I moved some stuff into my new room today. I am really excited about getting in there. Setting up all of my things will be healing. It was nice hanging with my brother. His girlfriend is fun too. We ate at Carillo’s. We stood and thought very hard about the positioning of the furniture in my room. Because, like most rooms, once you set things somewhere they do not move for a long time. Jennifer from my work is leaving us this week. Thursday is her last day. I am really bummed out about it. She has been an amazing friend. She is moving across the US. I am going to miss her a lot. I had a Blue Moon earlier. My right eye is blinking to the beat. I am looking forward to Blythe’s Grad party on Friday. Being vegan makes me fart. I found my copy of Command & Conquer today. I plan on installing that very soon. I listened to some of my old tapes today. They are still amazing. Nothing changes but the words and the weather. That is a Promise Ring line I have always liked. Where is Joanna Newsom, and why won’t she marry me this weekend? Should I start wearing a watch? Nah. I wash my hands to much, the watch would get wet. Maybe I should buy a neat water resistant one. I’ll think about it…no I won’t. Next time you are wearing headphones try cracking your back, because it sounds a lot louder. Is Han Solo my favorite Star Wars character? Is it just Harrison Ford? I am not sure, because I really feel attached to R2D2. And I don’t know if anything will be alright. I have been having strange urges lately. Some are as follows, Tattoo, Smoking(!?), Growing my hair longer, Staying in my room at all times, Ignoring the phone, Taking a small vacation to go camping alone, (Back to the tattoo, I am thinking of Star Wars and still trying to decide where), and other random things. I need a desk. Ikea, maybe. Thrift stores first though. I am REALLY excited about finally hanging up my Jordan Crane art. The book, The Vegan Health Plan, is good. I have been eating very well, thank you very much. Some people think vegans are not healthy, well I say you are insane if you think that. And also, do some homework, because I feel healthier than I have felt in a long long time. Plus I have been eating a lot more raw foods, and that is a huge plus. It is a long and quiet drive, and we take it at night. Trying to decide what color bed sheets to buy. It is proving to be a very hard decision. Natural unbleached cotton? Light blue? Forest green? Grey? Gray? Hmmm. It’s damned if you don’t, it’s damned if you do. I still need to buy some v-neck under shirts to dye. I talked to Karl today, and I am going back up to Seattle before the year ends. I miss him and Teresa. Also when I go to Ikea to look for sheets I want to see Damion and Jen. I miss them everyday. I want to walk barefoot more often. It’s not what you said, it’s how you said it. I need to buy some garbonzo beans to make hummus. mmmmm. Also, I can’t decide what color towels to buy. I sat in a hammock in my new backyard today and ate berries from a bush right next to it. This is going to work out just fine. 1 2 and 3 I can see exactly just where you ruined me. I want to collect more AM tapes. I want to collect more Star Wars related things. Like my cool little Star Wars movie posters that are from Japan. Do not eat Trans-fats. I have typed things into this post that are actually lyrics from songs I am listening to right now. Can you name any of them? Goodnight.

I do have a lot to say. I just need to make time to say it.
I have been writing bits of poems lately. Not whole poems, but small parts of poems that will later be typed up and placed on a table and then mixed around until they fit together as one. They are about a few different things, some of which you could probably guess.
I am really excited for the weekend. 2 reasons.
Organic carrots do not make my throat itch. Regular carrots do. That freaks me out.

Hey Tim P. I hear you know Herman, the guy I used to work with at Vans. That is crazy. Tell him I said “hello”. Long live the SPUDS!
A new Exploding Dog.
An old Softer World.
Do you like Feist? Well Caleb over at HTFAF just posted a whole live show of her playing in France. So go check out his amazing mp3 blog and get some good tunes.
I just had a yummy salad. Featuring my favorite dressing of all time, Woodstock, by Anne’s Organic. It is amazing.
I went to Jeanie and Stewart’s house yesterday to get a full updated 2007 tour. Their house is so neat. The house itself is exactly how I remember it, with small changes here and there. It still has the same smell that it had when I used to hang out there constantly. The backyard is the part that they have done a lot of work on. They have a great garden growing in the backyard now. It has broccoli, tomatoes, blackberries, boysenberries, asparagus, lettuce, strawberries, and more. There are two hammocks amongst the forestry of the yard, they are kinda hidden away it is neat. I am really excited to move in there. The official day will be the 1st of June. Eating fresh fruits and veggies from the backyard sounds like so much fun. Oh, did I mention the hammocks are really big. Plus, Brenna, Sean, Tamra, and Jared can come over all the time! They might come over anyway and I will just be there automatically able to hang out. Ha.
Chris S. and I decided we are for sure going to the Star Wars Celebration IV this weekend on the LA Convention Center. I am really pumped about getting some exclusive merch from the event. At least a patch or something. I remember Manny and some other friends going to the first one back in 99′. They went to it instead of Prom, I remember being so jealous that they were going. But now I can finally live out my dream.
I think I am going to shower and then wash the interior of my car.
I am doing okay lately. Mentally that is. I feel like I am becoming a hermit, but I like it. Sometimes my phone rings and I want to slowly lower it into the glass of water on the desk, but I don’t.
Living with Brenna and Sean has been a real treat. I will miss coming home to them everyday. Doing their dishes and sitting in their really comfortable black swivel chair.

This week has been good so far, except for my crazy allergies. I think staying up late a few times over the weekend set them off. I got some new homeopathic medicine for them. It is directed towards pet allergies, so that will hopefully work better than my old stuff which was kinda for all allergies.
I am going with my friend Jenny today to the Westlake Twin to see Year of the Dog. It looks soo good. Brenna and Sean saw it and they liked it.
I started reading, “Love is a Mix Tape”. So far it is pretty good. Got through a few chapters this morning. I think I have finally broken away from the habit of only reading books while going to the bathroom. I just sat and read for a while on the couch, it was nice.
Got a bottle of Marker’s Mark yesterday. Going to slowly get through it. Sometimes you just need a little nightcap or something to relax you, you know? I promise not to abuse it.
Home Movies.
This guy is doing some pretty neat things.
Â
Chris was showing me the hole he drilled into his thumb nail at work. OUCH! He always seems to have a weird injury but he is a sailor at heart so it never phases him.
has magical drinks that can be set on fire. He is magical.
The other day I was driving past the 76 station on Sycamore and LA and the pump was on fire! I was only able to get close after it was put out, but my car was pretty close while it was on fire. I thought I should get farther away but it was too interesting to leave the scene.
(Brendon talks to Coach McGuirk while the team practices.)
COACH: “Anyway, don’t make the same mistakes i made, or my father- or ur father.”
BRENDON: “Like what?”
COACH: “Well like this morning, I poured orange juice in my cereal. I wasn’t thinking. I just grabbed it…poured it. I was half asleep. Then, I realized I love it- I think it’s a great mix. Then, I realized it’s the coporations and the advertisers who prevent us from doing stuff like this. They program us to think one way- milk/cereal…then u realize orange juice/cereal is fine- it all goes in the same place, you know the old saying.”
BRENDON: “Yea, I know that saying.”
COACH: “Point is, Brendon- give your father a chance.”
BRENDON: “Right.”
I love that show dearly.
Yesterday Steve and I began the process to paint his room. We cleared everything to the sides and removed everything from the walls. We even got samples of paint to test. Now today is crunch time. We are hoping to finish today. I think we will. He picked nice colors. The main color is a soft yellow. The other color for the trim and such is a soft white. I think it is going to look great. Plus we will have a few beers while we paint. Because, I am pretty sure, that is a general rule. If anyone is doing house work or home improvements drinking a beer while doing so is a big factor in the outcome of the project. Keep in mind that drinking too much beer may cause a person to paint his family room hot pink with a baby blue trim or cut big holes in the dry wall of the kitchen to install random things into the wall, and then when he wakes up from his nap he is wondering who could have possibly painted his room so gross and punched big holes in the walls. Then he realizes it was him, and he vows never to have that much beer while painting. This being said, I believe that 2 beers is a safe medium for someone to consume while doing this kind of work. Now yard work on the other hand, that is slightly different. You could probably have 3. I mean, it gets really hot out, and now matter how you push the mower it is still going to cut all the grass as long as you simply go over the entire lawn. Although, if you have big bushes you may want to keep the beer consumption down, because you will most likely start to envision animals and odd shapes in said bushes, and that may lead you to shape said bushes, and that will lead to very ugly misshaped bushes because you don’t know how to do that in real life. So like I said, watch you beer consumption, depending on the work of course. If the only house work you have to do all day is take a nap and wash some windows than by all means have around 4.
The dishwasher has been emptied.
I am doing my laundry before I go to Steve’s. Also I am cleaning my room. Including vacuuming of course.
I used the tail light on my bike last night while riding home from Sweet Mike ‘n Eddies. It smelled like burning for the first 5 minutes but then that smell went away. It is really bright! Of course its brightness is determined by how fast I pedal, and I pedal like a bat outta hell.
The front of my shoes is coming off, I think I might need new shoes soon. My Tiger’s were 80 dollars! They should not be falling apart so quickly, but then again, I did not pay for them. The person that did probably would not care that they are falling apart anyway, so I am probably better off getting new shoes soon just so I do not have to wear them anymore. If there is something in your life that is linked to a bad memory or a crazy person, sometimes it is just best to get rid of it. As long as you can afford to. I have always considered myself to be very very sentimental, but not this time. I just could not bring myself to care about any of those things, and for the first time I did not want to. I would say that I had a brief lapse in my sentimentalism and now I am back. Also I am going to get New Balances next.
There is this really funny picture of Sean in a Star Trek uniform on the fridge and it always makes going to the fridge fun.
It is Small Brown Bike time.
I just read the BEST news.
The Rentals are playing every Saturday night this July at Spaceland. EVERY SATURDAY NIGHT. EVERY SATURDAY NIGHT!
This summer is going to be amazing.
Goldenboy is also playing, whom I also enjoy.
Jenny, Kristin (my sister), and I went on the Herb Walk today. It was really informative. The Herb Nerd, William, had a lot of interesting things to say about all the plants. Plus, we got to eat a lot of them. It honestly lite a small spark in my soul to learn about the different plants I can safely eat while out on a hike. Seems like a good thing to know. It was really fun. I want to go on more of them. William does them a few times a month. We must of learned about 15 herbs or so. He knew everything about them! What they are most commonly used for, how to use them to gain the most from the them, and much more. Even the latin names for them all. I highly recommend more people come with us next time.
Chris and I went to the Ventura Flea Market, but sadly I found nothing. Hanging with Chris is always a treat so we had fun anyway. I love that both of our sense of humors match so well.
I got the piece that I bought from Lacy in the mail this weekend. It is soo amazing. Her stuff is excellent.
I am going to read more Bloodless Revolution now. Night.
