orite

I bet you are wondering, “What does that title mean??!!”. Well, it is a simple word puzzle. You must attach “fav” to the beginning and you will then see the answer to this puzzle. Good Luck!

I went to Cafe 101 last night and had a blueberry, peach, and orange juice smoothie as well as a Waffle Brownie Sundae.

Today while I was doing some business I beat Tetris AGAIN!

I got a 2.99 brown re-issue shirt from the Army Navy Store in Simi. I love that place!

I got an 8 out of 10 on my Sociological Analysis quiz. Phew, it is funny too because I was stressing about it the night before.

I cleaned the uphostery in my car today. Also I watched last nights episode of The Office.

Lightning

You might be wondering, “What do you mean lightning, Brad?” or “Why did you title this post that. brad?”.

Well let me tell you, the reason is that the internet just got hooked up in my apartment and it is SUPER FAST!!!!!!!!! Hence the lightning reference.

Seriously, if my internet was on a bicycle right now, it would be passing you on the freeway.

Or if my internet was in a hot dog eating contest it would eat them so fast that the plate would empty within seconds of the 100 hot dogs being placed on it.

Or if my internet was a scientist, it would have just invented a time machine because it would be a scientist that is so fast that it calculates math and science to speeds man has never known.

Or if my internet was a man, it couldn’t be because our internet is no man. Our internet is SUPERMAN.

And lastly, if my internet was a space shuttle it would be the first space shuttle to goto the moon and back in 3 minutes.

But seriously, I am having a really good time surfing right now. Flash websites are like turning on a light switch. FLICK, loaded! Even faster than it took you to read the word FLICK!

I have had Van Halen stuck in my head all weekend

I have no idea why either.

Saturday I went to Skylight Books and American Apparel. I got a John P. book, link below, a small indie comic about a goat, and a heather grey v-neck. Which I happen to be wearing right now. So comfortable. Seriously. After that I came home and said hello to Damion, Jen, and Mike. When you click on Damion’s name scroll down a ways and in the article titled “Mirror Image” you will see his name. Hehe. Did you even know this was there Damion? Anyways, we hung out for a bit and then left for Spaceland. To see Maritime. They played so good. Plus the band that opened for them was named Big Japan. Big Japan’s music was not very good, but their drummer was this guy. Which was kinda strange. Yet funny. Maritime was amazing as usual. They are so fun live!

Exploding Dog has lots of new robot shirts for sale. Also lots of new drawings up.

I just got a book by John Porcellino, “Diary of a Mosquito Abatement Man”. So far I like it alot!
Have you even seen the link I posted a while ago to Cloak & Dagger? They have some of the sweetest features on their site. Check it out! Some of my favorite musicians have features.

Did you hear?! I knew I was right all along. I told my High School teachers this, but they just shrugged it off.

A few things

1. Do you want tiny sizes of normal everyday things? So do I!

2. I just finished my Statistics Test, and I feel like I got a 100%!!!!!!! I know that sounds crazy, because it is a math test. Math tests are usually pretty hard. I know they will get harder as the semester goes on, but for the first time maybe ever I feel like a aced a math test.

3. For anyone that doesn’t have an Ipod yet or is interested anyway, here is a site that has photos of the new generation of nanos.

Oh my Lord

The most amazing thing I have ever seen. I NEED this. It is all exactly the same as the original suits! The guy that makes these uses the actual mold from the old movies. Oh man. Seriously folks, if everyone pitched in I would wear this everyday for a month straight. And I would do all of your friends and relatives birthday parties. All we need is 100 people to donate 24 dollars. Then I will escort each donatee around all day to protect them, or dress for your birthday party, or do a motivational speech at an elementary school wearing it. Anything!

Sushi

Is what I just had for lunch. I drew a little picture of it too. I am trying to draw things for when I make my book.

Ikea is once again selling their Spöka nightlights!!!! I have had a blue and red one for some years now, but they stopped selling them. Now they are back! They provide the perfect amount of light for your bedroom. I picked up a green one yesterday to complete my collection. Omar has a green one, and I was always jealous because it is a neat one. They come in 3 colors and shapes. Buy one!

Monday

Geez. Today is my first morning back working at 6am. I will be working this early Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. I feel alright so far, although I was really tired when I woke up. Plus I was having a weird dream about Hershey Kiss shaped cars. Yeah I know.

This weekend was pretty great. Friday I went to Derek Albeck’s art show at Think Space. I only had to leave 15 minutes from this place and it is near Sunset Junction. Anyway, the art show was pretty rad. There had to have been 200 plus people there. And the walls were filled with artwork. There was some pretty neat stuff. Derek’s pieces looked amazing as usual.

Then I went bowling in Burbank, right around the corner from my house. I did pretty good. I got my highest game this season, 151. I owe it all to the ball fitting my hands really well.

Then around 6 or so we came home and I packed up my car and we left for the Telephone & Telegraph show in Mar Vista. It was Cosio’s EP realese party at The Good Hurt. Alot of people showed up, and the night was a blast. We even sold a few shirts! The only thing is I hate playing shows at places that have monitors, because that means that I won’t be able to hear anyone play. The sound guys never turn the monitors high enough for me to hear. But we played pretty good, considering Chris W. sliced his left index finger open to the bone earlier that morning. He is pure rock and roll.

Luke P. has new some new drawings up on his site that were featured at Form. He made these really nice books as well. I got one, it is so well put together. The art is amazing.

My sister Kristin takes some neat photos! I like this one alot.

And here is my brother Scott!

I still really want to make these.

Alex M. takes great great photos too. Here is a recent one that I have been enjoying. I wish I could see this place in the photo. It features Micheal of Polar State and Honest People. He is a truly kind fella. With great taste.

Ever wonder things while you are driving around town? Well I was always trying to figure out how Traffic Lights worked. And here is a description.

I think I am going to try and take a quick nap before class. Hope you enjoyed the long blog. I am still trying to find a good internet provider for Burbank.

Until then. adios.

I just spent about 40 minutes putting together a good blog and this computer at school crashed. The words I would like to be using right now are far from appropriate.

Elton John

Dave Grohl really is the man.

Today is bowling class I played a 136 game. Man, I really use to be able to bowl. It might just be me getting use to it again, but I really hope to do much better than that.

Ryan just got home. I am at his house in his room at the moment. He is kind enough to let me use his computer whenever!

I ate at Follow Your Heart the other night. I had the Love Plate, which is soup and half a sandwich. The sandwich I chose was the Tomato, Avocado, and Sprouts. Mmmmmm. The soup was Creamy Spinach Mushroom. Also Mmmm. One funny thing about that night was that I got seated right next to my good friend Pat C. and then when they left on the other side of my table my old friend Steve, from 88th Mark, got seated next to me! The waiter called me a social butterfly, haha. I forgot to mention that I had a non-dairy fresh strawberry shake. OUT OF THIS WORLD!!

I have a 3 hour band practice to go to. We are playing this Saturday in West LA if anyone wants to go!!

adios
