Keep your tools organized neatly and accessible for success! I bring snacks and beverages like fruit leather and lime water. But today I felt fancy so I got a Yerba Mate organic energy drink. Also I have a highlighter, a small straight edge, my TI-83 plus, and two pencils. Only one pencil is shown though. I have found that having all of these tools along with plenty of rest helps me preform in class!

Hmmm thoughts?
I just read an article about the oldest man in the world, and something he said kinda made me laugh.
“I never damaged my body with liquor,” said Mercado, who quit a 76-year smoking habit when he was 90.
So he never “damaged” body with liquor, BUT he smoked for 76 years. Which is more damaging? I would say the latter of the two. Not that I have anything against smokers, I am just saying.
In other news. The most amazing product Costco has EVER sold. Oh man. Please someone buy me one of these.
Bridges and Balloons
I am listening to Joanna Newsom, Jared Jone’s favorite singer, right now. So good.
Today has been great so far!
- For breakfast I had scrambled eggs with a single slice of whole grain toast. The toast had strawberry preserves on it. Also a glass of soy milk. If I am not mistaken.
- Statistics was good today. I did homework that I thought was due today, but it ended up being the homework that we should do AFTER today. So now I am one step ahead of the class! I think I am going to keep it that way. Because in class I already knew what was going on, and I got to answer questions outloud and it made me feel alot more confident in class. We took a 15 minute break in the middle of class, so Shaun and I went to the Cafeteria. I got a rice and bean burrito. We saw Jake R. there! The burrito was just as good as I remember them being back in 2003. Haha. But I think I will start bringing a small snack to eat during the class break from now on.
- And now I am in the library doing my online routine.
- Soon I will drive home and move some things around. Possibly drink some chocolate soy milk. Actually I will DEF drink some chocolate soy milk. I could drink it forever. That and apple juice… and homemade lime water. Mmmm.
- Then I have band practice at Sound Arena at 5.

Come on
I started my Intro to Statistics class today. And yes Myron, if you are reading this, I bet I will be calling you sometime this semester for help. I hear you are the King! What is the worst way to start off a new class? Some would say, maybe farting or throwing up in class. But what happened to me was not as bad but still a bummer. I went to class about 10 minutes early, I thought, and was waiting around for it to start. The teacher finally shows up and she introduces herself and says, “If you are not here for 2nd Semester Calculas then you are in the wrong class”. Dang it. I was in the wrong class. So right after she said that I made it very obivious that I am an idiot and left the room, ha. The only thing is, I didn’t know where the class really was! So I had to run to the library, well actually I walked semi-fast to not lose my cool. And I checked my schedule online. By the time I got to the right classroom the teacher was already going over the class rules and outlining the semester. She was really nice though. She told us that today we would pick a partner and do some inclass assignments. So I looked around hoping I would know someone, which was likely, and guess what! Shaun Puck is in my class! Awesome. So naturally we teamed up for crime fighting around campus and doing Statistics work together. So everything worked out great today. I even saw Brett F., Wes, and Adam around campus. So far so good, I would say.

Stuffed dead things
Damion got a new giant catfish. It is amazing. Jen has sweet taxidermy skills and they got this from her shop today. They also got a pirahna. Someday I hope to get a frog or a black bear. You know something small.

Ahh Greg’s speed boat!
Our relative Greg took us out on his speed boat yesterday. Pretty sweet. Their lake house was really nice. Meeting all of his family was terrific! We even got to eat at his family restaurant today. It was fantastic! I had an omelette with veggies and cheese, it was amazing. Leslie you cooked it perfect! I will blog more about the trip’s details later though. For now, here is this speed boat photo!

Thrift finds
My cousin chris found these for me. I love tapes! Also i bought a cowboy shirt and a shirt with jellyfish on it. Here at Value Village in Saint Paul MN. We still have 3 more thrift stores to check out! We have been to 3 already. I love thrifting in other states.

real quick
I am playing a show tonight at the Harmony Sweet (carpe dm), it is going to be a really great show! Starts at 7 and some really great bands are playing, come on out! Also I seriously hate calling it Carpe DM, stupidest name for a venue/bar/something ever. Lame.I am going over to Derek Albeck’s to help him with some web stuff. Hopefully his site will be up soon. So everyone can see his art. It is beautiful.
