Chris and I dug two holes today. We dug them to put two huge beams into the ground for his house. I got to use a jackhammer! It was pretty tough. We jackhammered the cement floor, dug it away and then dug about 3 feet down. The holes were 2 1/2 feet wide, 3 feet long, and about 2 1/2 feet deep. It was a pretty good work out. We got cement from Home Depot and saw Chris Woodhead and Tim Casebolt. They were doing stuff for work. We put their supplies in the back of our truck and drove them back to work. Then we got jamba juice. Mmm. I had a grape juice, strawberry, peach smoothie. When we got back from Home Depot we got the holes ready for pouring the cement. And that is when we decided to SWIM! Brian and Gina came over to swim too. There have been so many bees by the pool lately. Scary. After about an hour or so we came inside and made dinner. And now we are deciding what to do tonight.
My friend Jesse gave me this photo. A man came into the ER like this. His mentaly handicapped son did this. Poor guy.
Saddam.. I mean Chris sitting in a hole we dug today.

Jared, do you get the title? Ha.
Telephone and Telegraph is playing a show next Sunday night at the Harmony Sweet, even though it is called something else now. But EVERYONE needs to go, because it is also my BIRTHDAY. I will be 25. It would really make my birthday great if everyone could come out for our show. If you need help getting there or anything let me know. John I hope we see you!!!
The weather was so weird today. The sky was kind of orange and very cloudy. The humidity was skyrocketing! Ugh!
I worked 12 to 8 today. And yet, it did’nt go as slow as I thought it would. I cooked dinner tonight. Everyone loved it! Basically it was noodles, vegetables, spices, tomato sauce, and cheese cooked and then baked. It turned out really good. I was very proud of myself for cooking it so well.
Now I am about to leave work and go home. My cousin Chris called and asked if I wanted to go see that Al Gore movie. I do. But it started at 7:45 so I couldn’t go. Speaking of my cousin Chris. He did something for me last saturday, that only a true true friend would do. I can’t really give details but what he did seriously made me really grateful to him, and I really owe him alot for being so generous and helping me out in a way that very very very few would consider. Thanks Chris. It has been really great living with you this past year or so, and you will be missed. Even though we will see each other, obviously.
adios.

The most amazing bands I have ever seen live. The played at the Roxy last night. My cousin Chris, Damion, and Jen came to the show. From the beginning of the show to the end it was filled with the most exciting, appliance smashing, loud screaming, butt crack showing, and amazing cover songs I have ever seen! They played some original material as well. It was in Norwegian so I could tell what they were saying, but it was amazing. Before they went on the guy holding the two big metal pipes was standing in the back, so I waved and he came over to talk. He was so nice. I thanked him for coming to LA, and he was telling me how fun the tour had been. Man, I can’t wait for them to come back next year.
Today I went to a pool party at Micheal C’s house and a few guys were swimming back and forth underwater to see how far they could go. I thought I could go there and back, but only made it there and half way back. Dang. The whole party was watching our contest and I blew it. Ha. At least I tried. We were there from noon until around 7!! It was lots of fun.

Just the other day I was saying that I wish I knew of a blog that was mantained by a homeless person. I was just looking through digg.com and what do you know! I found one. This Homeless Guy has a blog! I really hope that he is not fooling us. But then again, that would mean he isn’t homeless which would be better. But at the same time a blog kept by a homeless man does sound interesting to keep up with. Well, I will let you decide. I am going to try and remember to check it from time to time.
i just watched The Shining. Yeessh, it was pretty suspenseful. And overall I think they did a really good job. A little different than I thought it would be, but still very good.
I drank a vanilla slimfast shake thing, and now my stomach kinda feels funny. It is weird to say but it feels “vanilla”. I know that makes no sense, but that is how it feels. “Vanilla” and a little “upset”.
The sun is setting at 8:13 tonight! Holy cow. That is late and I like it. Except the sun is soo hot these days. That I don’t like as much. Nope. Not at all.
I think I might have already mentioned this but the new David Bazan EP is seriously amazing. Man.
I want a salmon burger.
Over and out.

The Dodger game was so fun! Kenny and I kept yelling for Seattle and I think ALOT of people around us were getting mad. I even got a Dodger dog! Blythe and Kirby are 2 months pregnant!!!!
My dad and I drove out to gravity hill today in Moorpark. It was alot of fun. I bought him a book for father’s day called ‘Weird California’. So we are going to drive to cool places together and have fun as a father son duo!
I have band practice tonight at 9. We haven’t jammed in a while so it should be really fun.
peace… in the middle east.

I am going to Blythe and Kirby’s apartment right now, because we are going to the Dodger game!! I think Kirby is going to see the other team, the Marlines. I am wearing my 1988 World Series Champs Dodger shirt, haha.
The new David Bazan Ep is honestly incredible. Everyone needs to buy it. You will NOT be dissapointed.
I made 2 crunchy peanut butter and jelly sandwhichs to bring to the game. Is that how you spell sandwhich?? I kinda hate the word sandwhich, which is weird because I really like them. It just seems like it is always spelt wrong. I don’t know.
Adios amigos.

Last night at Skylight books in Silverlake Davy and his brother presented their favorite finds and preformed songs for everyone. It was actually really funny, because in the beginning of the event Davy walked up to the front with a 6 pack of TECATE. He handed one to the guy that introduced him and then asked everyone in the audience if they wanted one. I was sitting in the middle of the second row, and was feeling a bit thristy so naturally I raised my hand. And just like that I aquired a free TECATE beer to enjoy during the event. If that is not amazing enough I dont know what is. Thank you Davy. The event was really funny, highlights being Davy’s presence on “stage” and the whole enjoyment of getting a glimpse into someone elses life through found items.

Damion, Jen, and I have been hanging out alot. I love going out to Burbank to visit and hang out with them. Yesterday we went to the Camarillo outlets and I exchanged my AA brown v-neck shirt for an organic cotton v-neck shirt, which I am wearing right now. Jen got running shoes and stuff. Damion got a very nice polo shirt from that place that has the alligators on the shirts. Then we went back to Damion’s place and had root beer floats, and hung out.
I didn’t goto the Felt Club because Jordan Crane was not going to be there this month.
I hope that everyone is still NOT getting gas at 76 stations. Read here for more info. DON’T GO THERE!
Thanks Scott for letting me use your laptop to blog today, ha.
The weather has been sooo nice lately. I am very happy about it and sad at the same time because I know this is probably the last bit of cool weather we will have for a long time. Darn summer! Darn it!

I just had a burrito and some water.
Steve gets off work at 5:15, which is when the hanging out will begin.
Omar got a 24 inch widescreen monitor for his computer. HOLY COW OMAR! But seriously, it is really nice.
My small comic/drawings/poetry site is coming along. Right now it is only really viewable in Firefox, until I debug it more. I think friday I am going to Moorpark College so I can scan some things to put up and then I will be happier with the amount of content on it. Then I will let everyone know where they can view this new site at. I hope the feedback is good.
