Craft Night’s 2nd Birthday
Craft Night is 2 years old! Check out this set of photos from our celebration.
Near My House
The Diplomat
The latest addition to my vintage AM radio collection. I took this picture with Kyle T’s Nikon D90. This camera is wild. I am going down to Lincoln City, Oregon tomorrow with Katrina, Pam, and Mark to shoot a wedding. I have never had to be a photographer at a wedding, so this should be pretty wild. I am super glad I was able to borrow such a sweet camera. Hope I get a few good shots out of the 2,000 pictures I will probably take. Also very excited to stop by Burgerville on the way down south. Hope our hotel has a spa or heated pool. Also excited to see the Oregon coast. Also excited to eat snacks I bought at Trader Joe’s while we drive.

Sitting at work looking through my manager paperwork. I have been working on this notebook to keep all of my papers and things directly related to managing organized and neat for quick reference. It is looking pretty good. Just made little tabs for each divider. You may be wondering, among other things, why I am blogging at such an odd time. Well, I can’t really say why, but I can say that I will be here till 6am and I’m glad i bought a cookie and coffee drink to keep me awake.
In other news, I am blogging from my new phone. The iPhone 3G S. I am really digging this thing. So happy I switched over to AT&T for it. Pretty much in gadget heaven.
In other HUGE news, Katrina surprised me with a very special birthday gift……. 1st Class Tickets for her and I to fly down to LA next week for 5 days!!!!! I seriously can’t believe it. The excitement of visiting everyone is growing bigger and bigger everyday. I am so excited. I can’t wait to take her on the “Important Places in Brad’s Life” tour.
Here is a scene from my night. Adult Swim makes think of all the good times Omar and I had staying up too late and drinking IBC root beer.
Yosemite Valley
I finally got some film developed that I had sitting around. It had about 1 dozen photos on it from a trip to Yosemite I went on back in the fall of 2007. I think that is when it was. Tisa and Kevin were getting married, the leaves were changing into all sorts of amazing fall colors, the weather was perfect, a big group of our friends were all there together, and the only thing we had to do was enjoy hanging out and have a blast at their wedding. Such a good time. I wonder why I didn’t take more photos with this roll. Weird. There were two pictures that came out good enough to put on my Flickr. Click the photo to see the other one. This one is nice because it captures the feeling of that morning. The weather was cool and the mountains looked grey. Matt Pool and I climbed up a bunch of rocks and then I took this picture once we had climbed up pretty high. You can see half dome in the background. Yosemite is soo great.
Remember Me
Tonight at Craft Night Amber baked a delicious Carrot Cake. Jonathan, Tai, Jenna and I all ate a lot of it. We did however remember to save some for Brian. I sewed two buttons back onto my comforter cover thing. Hopefully now my comforter won’t keep trying to fall out the bottom of the cover.
The biggest drywall repair job I have taken on since I started the job. I think it was about 43 inches by 23 inches. 1/2 thick drywall. I added extra 2×4s into the wall as sort of added support to the studs. I think this will help prevent future kicks and punches from actually breaking the wall. Fingers crossed.

This guy found this painting before I had a chance to buy it, but i had to take a picture because I liked it so much. Sometimes thrift stores have the coolest art.

Kenny and I met this guy Conner and went over to his house to jam a little. It was pretty cool. Kenny has gotten so good at piano it’s awesome. He has been making friends everywhere he goes. Seattle is welcoming him more and more each day.

La Pasadita truck inside the 76 station parking lot off the 5 freeway across from Northgate. They make a really good veggie taco for 1.20 each. I wish they sold Mexi-Coke. This is my current favorite place to get tacos. Open from 10am to 10pm
